Bella Blvd wedding layout

Hi everyone! This week over on the Bella Blvd blog we are celebrating Stephanie Hunt's upcoming wedding with wedding layouts of our own using her beautiful Bella Blvd collections. For my layout I used the Love and Marriage collection.

I love how it turned out! I was able to incorporate lots of the new crochet hearts too which I think are the perfect touch for layouts about love (and babies)! The ampersand flair is from {a flair for buttons}. I like how the black of the button draws your eye into the subtitle.

Noel Mignon Country Lane layout 1

Happy Friday, everyone! In celebration of Mother's Day, which is Sunday, I wanted to share a layout I made about my Mom! She made sure my sister and I had everything we needed growing up. She would have done anything for me back in the day and she still would. My Mom is completely selfless! I wanted to document that so future generations would know what a wonderful mother I have had the fortune of having in my life.

I found a vintage photo of my Mom sweeping out the garage wearing a dress with an apron on to use for the layout all about her. I just love this photo with all the details of that era.

I made the layout using the May kit, Country Lane, from Noel Mignon. The adorable flair is from {a flair from buttons} and is included in the Country Lane kit. The stamped words are from an included Elle's Studio stamp set. I love it and can see using it a bunch! The chipboard house pieces came from my stash.

Bella Blvd NSD layout

Hello, hello! Finally, I'm getting around to sharing a layout I made for Bella Blvd blog for NSD. Every hour for 12 hours there were 2 layouts posted and the topic was "All About Me." I really enjoyed popping in throughout the day and getting to know all the lovely ladies that I am lucky to design with a little bit better. Here is the layout I made...

Right now, I am super inspired by Wilna Furstenberg's water coloring and artsy style and decided to try my hand with a little water coloring. I like the depth it adds and will give this another go in the future. 

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the title and the pin wheels. For the "all about me" part I simply jotted down some of my favorite things at the moment.

Lily Bee outdoor cards

Hi everyone! I have a couple Lily Bee cards to share today. The theme last week was the great outdoors and I love the sun (and being warm, NOT cold) so I wanted to create a couple cards that are full of sunshine and happiness!

For the first card I created a little scene of the sun rising complete with clouds and butterflies.

I had fun coming up with different sun themed captions to use on my cards and like the play on words of the "hello sunshine" and rising sun scene.

On this next card, I simply cut a sun out on my Cameo, multiple times in different colors and layered them for a colorful sun.

I hope everyone is past the winter blues and enjoying the warm days of spring and sunshine...just like these cards.

Noel Mignon Melrose kit layout 5

Hi everyone! Did you have a great weekend? Did you get to do a little scrapping on Saturday for iNDS? I didn't do any scrapping but I did go through and organize some supplies over the weekend and when I was done I felt really inspired by all the goodies I forgot I had in my stash.  I can't wait to do a little scrapping this week with some of the treasures I found in my stash.

I have a layout to share that I made last week using the Melrose kit from Noel Mignon. It features my handsome son all dressed up in his tuxedo for prom. I don't have a lot of photos of the two of us together so I thought it was a great opportunity to jump in the picture with him.

I'll be back later this week with a layout using the brand new Country Lane kit.

April showers bring May flowers and right along with it a new month and a brand new write. click. scrapbook gallery! The theme this month is "Everydaily."

At first I was stumped by the theme and then I looked down and saw the dogs staring at me with the familiar look of anticipation and fear that they will be forgotten in the hustle and bustle of the evening and not be fed. This intent stare proceeded by following me around if I'm moving about the house begins at 4pm and lasts until feeding time at 5pm. Hence, the topic for my layout.

The journaling is tucked behind the photo on the yellow tag. The adorable "woof" flair is from the Got Dog flair set at {a flair for buttons} and is available in the {a flair for buttons} shop.

Noel Mignon Melrose kit layout 4

Hey everyone! Happy Monday to you! Popping in real quick to share my Noel Mignon April sketch layout.

I wanted to create a pattern on pattern on the top panels so I punched the coordinating paper in 3 different sizes and matched up the patterns. I really like the dimension that it gives to the layout.

The layout was made using the Noel Mignon Melrose kit, my favorite Noel Mignon kit to date. The flair is from my stash and is made by {a flair for buttons}.

Fancy Pants Trendsetter Cards

Hey everyone, happy Friday!  I'm sharing a couple quick and easy cards at Come On Get Crafty today using the Fancy Pants Trendsetter collection. I used the Patterned Paper Photo Frames for the center of the cards, making it easy to pull them together quickly.

On this next card I placed the greeting in the bottom right corner for something different. I like how it turned out.
