Color Me Happy

JBS Mercantile February Guest Designer

Hi everyone! I had the opportunity to play along with the designers over at JBS Mercantile and create some goodies with their paper crafting kit and add-ons as their February guest designer.

There is a nice mix of warm neutrals with a splash of color and some fun embellishments and vintage goodies.

Here is what I made...

This was made with the Main Paper Crafting kit. I got the idea for the title from Pinterest. I really love that the & flair button is the only bit of color on the entire layout. It really makes it pop!

This layout was made with the Artisan Add-on kit.

I also used the Artisan Add-on for this card and treat jar. The doilies use for the base of each was cut from cardstock on my cutting machine. 

The wall hanging was made using the Mini Album Kit Add-on. This is headed straight to my office to brighten up my grey cubicle!

Somebody pinch me...

A couple weeks ago I received an e-mail, the kind of e-mail that makes you blink hard to clear your eyes and start reading it over because you think your eyes are playing tricks on you kind of e-mail. It was from Marnie Flores from Write Click Scrapbook asking me if I would like to join their team. Well, let's just say she had me at "Hello, I'm Marnie Flores from Write Click Scrapbook". I love their site and have been following it since the day it launched. I am thrilled and honored to be joining this extremely talented group of ladies!

And with that, let's jump right into it, shall we? First, if you aren't familiar with Write Click Scrapbook, you are missing out. Head over and take a look around. There is a lot of inspiration...journaling, photos and layouts galore in a variety of styles and perspectives.

The theme for the February gallery is music. I decided to scrap my "one little word" for 2012 along with the song that ran through my head for days as a result of my chosen word.

Instead of a self-portrait, I broke out my POW glitter paper and cut a light bulb for the focal point of my layout.

For the journaling, I'll be attaching my blog post about my word "Shine" to the back of the layout. 

I would love to say the idea for the word in the light bulb was my own but it was inspired from this image I pinned on Pinterest.

Bella Blvd Sunshine & Happiness

Hey everyone! I have a couple more layouts to share with you today. They were made with the new Bella Blvd collection, Sunshine & Happiness. The name could not be more perfect, I certainly do feel "sunshine & happiness" when I look at these bright, warm, colors. Ok, here is what I made...

I incorporated some designer tape and a lot of flags on this layout too. I used the Vacation, Finally Fall and Sunshine & Happiness flag sets.

Hello, chevron and polka dot clouds...I could have a stack of that sheet of paper in my stash and never tire of it!

Bella Blvd Baby Boy

Hello everyone! The CHA Winter show is in full swing now and I've been checking Facebook, Twitter and my favorite online hangouts for any peeks I can get of all the scrapping goodies and booths. What about you? Have you been stalking online and social media outlets too?!

I'm especially dying to get a good look at the Bella Blvd booth and see how it looks with all those new goodies and projects on display. Here are a couple projects I made for the booth using the Baby Boy collection. 

First up is this layout, which also features new embellishments...buttons, flags and designer tape!

This was a mini album I made using the Baby Boy collection. The coordinating chipboard and stickers helped me pull this together quickly.

Bella Flowers and Flags Sneaks

Hello everyone! So excited...I get to share two fabulous new embellishments from Bella Blvd today. You are going to love these...crochet flowers and flags! Swoon!

I seriously can not wait to get my hands on these flowers! I'll take one (or maybe two) in every color, please!

And look at all the flags. Aren't they fun? I used lots of them on several of my layouts! They were really easy to mix and match between the collections, just like the papers are too! I love that about Bella Blvd products!

Yesterday, the new High Five alphabet stickers were revealed. Here's a peek...

I love the variation in size and shades of the same color, but the best part, you'll never run out of a letter again!

Bella We're Expecting Sneaks

I'm really excited about the Bella Blvd mini series that is being featured in today's sneak peeks...We're Expecting!

We're Expecting is the perfect complement to the Baby Boy and Baby Girl collections that were revealed earlier this week. In my opinion, there haven't been a lot of products geared towards documenting the time before baby arrives, so I think Bella Blvd really hit it out of the park with this collection!

I don't have many pregnancy photos, but I'm anxious to get my hands on this to scrap the few that I have. I especially love the sonogram stamp with hearts and the matching chipboard piece...adorable!
