Hello August...I can't believe you are already here. Summer is winding down and I'll be sending two kids off to college this month. An empty nester. Sigh. :( I guess I'll have to immerse myself into the leftovers of my Gossamer Blue August kits. They are fabulous, I know you'll love them as much as I did. Here's a look at what I've created so far this month.
First up...I'm super excited to be using my new Get To Work Book and was inspired by the watercoloring @amytangerine did in her book on Instagram. I decided to follow suit and using some simple watercoloring and stickers from my August Gossamer Blue kits to spruce up the pages.
This is the first project page for the month. I added a Life Pages card that coordinates with my summery theme for the month and some Simple Stories die cuts, stamping and stickers.
I've already completely filled these pages up with to-dos lists and things that need to be purchased and packed in preparation for college.
My calendar is filling up too, many more additions since this was created. It's going to be a busy month. The stamping was added using the cute October Afternoon set from the August Bits & Pieces kit.
Additional stickers and Life Pages cards are tucked in the last page for additions throughout the month.
The layout showcases photos from a weekend getaway with my parents to San Antonio during Fiesta.
You can see all the sketches and more inspiration over at PageMaps.
Last, but not least, a layout of a sweet photo of my sister. :)
Lots of Crate Paper goodies from the August kits on this layout.
I love the mix of colors in the August Gossamer Blue kits. They are colorful and perfect for all your summer photos.
