Last week I decided, rather last minute, that I would join Ali Edwards in her Week in the Life scrapbooking project. So, I got busy and finished an incomplete album to use for recording a week in our little old life. I think this will be fun. I have lots to record and capture, including a visit from my parents and my youngest child’s birthday.
I created my album using the process I learned from Mary Ann Moss in her Remains of the Day class. The monogrammed initial is from Anthropologie. I know, I can hear all of you gasping in horror, but yes, I cut into a brand new cocktail napkin from the store we all love so much. If it makes you feel any better, I got a great deal on it over the holidays and I held the scissors in my hand for a very long time before I could actually make the first cut.
Without further adieu, here is the album I’ll be using to record every little detail of our life for the next week.
I used lots of fabric scraps for the cover.
Here are a few examples of the pages.
It isn’t too late to do this, even if you haven’t created a
base album yet. Check out Ali’s process if you would like to join in.
