Just a quick update with a layout I did recently that I haven't had time to upload. I used the Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 line. I love the colors and grid, number and alpha patterns of the paper, and of course I could not resist the vintage typewriter chipboard and banner. What's not to love?
When I saw the girl sitting on top of the world on the chipboard sheet this layout idea immediately came to mind. I LOVE when this happens as it makes creating so much easier and the page turned out exactly how I envisioned it.
I look forward to making some more things with the Circa 1934 line, maybe even a few cards, which I haven't made in a very long time.
On another note, I have not yet finished the tutorial for the book binding process that I used on my 12 Days of Christmas album. I made my second album using that technique this past week, however, now that it is done, I think there are a couple of things I can do differently to make a better end product. So, I will work on another mini this next week and hope to share the tutorial with you soon.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends and an even better long weekend off from work. I actually started our Christmas shopping and got the house decorated. I had a few helpers, which was great, and one that was especially tired after all the decorating festivities.
Sorry, I just couldn't resist! Have a wonderful week everyone!
