Happy Wednesday! Wait, is it Wednesday? This week has been a blur of long, fast-paced days at work and I'm not even sure what day it is anymore, lol! Anyway, I know we are one day closer to the weekend, yay!
I had a layout go up at Bella Blvd yesterday featuring the new Designer tapes, which are fabulous, btw (you need them)! It is made in true Diane form...colorful with a splattering of embellishments.
Here is what I did...
It features my son at the District wrestling competition. This pin earned him a spot at regionals...so proud of him.
To make the grid, I cut 2 inch squares of card stock and covered them in an assortment of Designer Tapes. Depending on how I turned the tape I could make different patterns with the tape and a variety of chevrons width. Really had fun experimenting with it. For some of the squres in the grid I added black stitching for a subtle textured effect. To finish it off I added some fun chipboard elements, a flag and buttons!
Make sure you swing by the Bella Blvd blog to see more Designer Tape inspiration!
