Circle one...yes or no! Remember those little notes that we passed around in middle school? I had a couple like that passed to me . It was awkward to answer a note and send it back across the room for the person to read the answer. While we are on the subject of note passing it is a bad idea to do that in the classroom anyway. Who would want a note of any kind to be confiscated by the teacher if they saw it? Not I. Not a fellow classmate I had in school either. She got caught...I don't know what was in the note but it must have been bad. She put that whole sheet of folded up paper, staples and all, in her mouth chewed it up and swallowed it. Let's just say that teacher was furious and that classmate got sent to the office.
Ok, back on subject here. The fabulous Lasting Love kit from Noel Mignon included a die cut piece that said that very thing and it prompted me to tell the story of how shy I used to be and could not talk to boys I liked. I simply did not know what to say. If you didn't know me then but know me now as an adult you may be scratching your head over that but it's true...I was terribly shy. :)
Enough about my rambling, here's the layout.
That boy in this layout is my husband. It's true, I've known and liked him since 6th grade. I couldn't say a word to him back then and I'm sure he wishes I couldn't say a word now sometimes, lol! The black and white photso are our 6th grade school pictures. The color photo is a picture of him walking in the cafeteria and was taken by me...I ran right up to him snapped a quick photo and ran off. It is blurry and my thumb is in the bottom corner but it really completes the story I'm telling in the layout.
Here are a few close-ups including the journaling if you care to read the whole story.
Everything on the layout is from the Lasting Love kit except the flair which is from {a flair for buttons}.
Thanks for visiting...I hope you enjoyed a little trip down memory lane!
