Just a few short days ago Tim told me that we had a bird nest with baby Cardinals. Of course, I immediately grabbed my camera and headed outdoors to investigate. The nest was in an overgrown shrub on the side of the house right about eye level. When I got there the mama bird took off and stayed a short distance away, chattering at me the whole time I looked at her babies. I felt a little bad about making her so nervous but I was not about to miss the photo opportunity.
I saw two babies. They were so tiny with just a little fuzz on their bodies and I think I may have interrupted their feeding time. Aren't they cute?!
I thought I would try to get some more photos later and this is what I find...baby bird ready to take flight.
I can't believe how quickly they grew. Isn't it beautiful?!
