Last month we went on vacation to Maui. It was our third trip there, but I loved it just as much as the first trip 15 years ago. I really never tire of the Islands and on this trip we discovered a couple little gems that we hadn't seen on a previous visit.
Like this amazing blow hole on the North Shore.
After hiking about 1/2 mile from the parking lot down to the ocean, I spent at least 30 minutes trying to get a good picture of the blow hole. By the time I got photos I was happy with Tim and the kids started back up the hill, desperate to escape me and my camera! He hee! Well, when I turned around to leave, I spotted this gem...
...and I was NOT leaving until I had a photo of Tim and I in front of that cool carved heart. In my most authoritative voice I told them they HAD to come back down so we could take more pictures and after lots of grumbling I had my way.
I finally worked in a little time over the weekend to get it scrapped.
I used a mix of Basic Grey, My Mind's Eye, American Crafts and Jenni Bowlin on the layout.
I have many more vacation photos but I think I've scrapped the ones that I want in my main albums, except for the blow hole photo at the top and a couple other favorites that I haven't edited yet. I'll probably put the rest in a mini album and call it good.
Thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
