Hey, hey everyone! I realized I have one more fall layout that I need to share with you before November is gone and December roll in. I used Noel Mignon's Willow Creek kit and flair from {a flair for buttons}.
If you have fall photos to scrap I highly recommend the kit and flair...super fun!
Ok, that's it for me and fall projects. All my Christmas goodies are spread out on my work table and it is full speed ahead with holiday crafting!

Hey everyone! I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving. We did and have now switched gears and are fully immersed in Christmas around here. The tree is up, Christmas cards are planned, and shopping has commenced. Amidst the beginning of the holiday hustle and bustle, I made one more fall project with the beautiful Noel Mignon Willow Creek kit that I would like to share with you.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to make my subway art. I made a rectangle a little larger than opening of my frame and then typed fall words in various sizes and fonts along with a couple leaves inside the rectangle. Once cut out, I backed each item with a different piece of patterned paper. For the finishing touch, I added a piece of Fall flair from {a flair for buttons}.
Easy peasy...I hope you like it and are inspired to make your own Subway art!

This week over at Bella Blvd we are teaming up with Basically Bare. I received a cute mini and chipboard banners that I used to make a mini album celebrating the "Everyday Moments" in life. One of my favorite things about this album is that it incorporates many everyday candid shots that probably wouldn't get scrapped on a regular layout.
I used the Thankful collection along with a few stickers and embellishments from some other collections and lots of Designer Tapes which made it super easy to add layers and additional patterns throughout the album.

Hello everyone! Did you know that the 3rd Saturday of each month brings a sketch and color inspiration at write. click. scrapbook? There is always lots of great inspiration.
I love sketches and took the time to make this layout based on the sketch.
Most supplies are from the Studio Calico Metropolitan kit (an oldie but goodie) and the flair is from {a flair for buttons}.
In just a few short days December will be here, bringing with it a new gallery at write. click. scrapbook. I'm looking forward to sharing my layout and have a little peek today.

My daughter recently got her Learner Driving Permit. :( She is waaaaay more excited about it than I am. Nevertheless, it is an important milestone in her growing-up years so I wanted to document the occasion.
I used the In the News 1 flair from {a flair for buttons} to highlight the occasion! They add just a touch of whimsy and along with the bright colors is perfect for what I was trying to create in this layout.
She is almost done with her Driver's Education course and from there just needs to get the required number of driving hours and then she'll get her license in April. Sigh.
Who's doing a December Daily this year? I'm going to attempt it, but we'll see how well I can keep up with it. Let's just say daily projects aren't my strength. :)
I've been gathering my supplies and will be using this Retro Christmas 1 flair set.

Hello everyone! A few days ago while I was sitting at the computer cleaning off some files my daughter asked me if I would take some photos of her. I looked up and her hair was curled and she was dressed in a cute outfit so I did what any mother would do...I grabbed my camera and headed out the door with her for a fun hour of shooting!
This layout features one of my favorite captures from the day.
I used the Willow Creek kit from Noel Mignon and created the soft color palette of yellow and gray with just a splash of red for a pop of color from the patterned papers in the kit. I finished it off with yellow/gray heart and butterfly flair from {a flair for buttons}.
I love how so many of the shots from mini shoot turned out and am looking forward to scrapping more of the photos.

Happy Friday! Tonight is the last football game of our regular season and then we are on to the playoffs. I'm not sure how far we'll make it but am excited that we are going.
It has been a fun season so I decided to put together a layout of the Homecoming festivities this year. The week was jam packed with activities including the parade, both kids on the float, homecoming mums and a rush on the field after our victory that night. There was also the Homecoming dance, but I'll save for another layout.
I used the October Afternoon Midway collection. I had some lens flare in some of the photos and thought that collection complemented the mood and feeling. I used the 8x8 pad, which is awesome until I needed the star paper in 12x12 for my background. I worked around my dilemma by cutting the paper into strips and piecing it together around the edges.
All supplies are from October Afternoon except the football flair which is from the {a flair for buttons} shop and the letter stickers which are Prima and Sassafras.

Hey there, everyone! I'm sharing my first layout with the Noel Mignon Willow Creek kit. The colors in this kit are just perfect for fall, well really, any type of layout! They are rich and vibrant and I love them!
I wanted to use lots of the great patterns and colors so I cut one inch squares from a variety of papers and placed them down together like a patchwork quilt on the left side of the layout. The kits comes with a 3 pack of twine from Lawn Fawn which I used to make flowers by gluing the twine onto chipboard.

I used a mix of Jillibean Soup, American Crafts, Lily Bee, Lawn Fawn and October Afternoon, which are all included in the kit. I can't believe this kit is still available. You can pick it up in the shop. Make sure to visit Noel Mignon's blog too for even more inspiration using the kit!

November always causes me to pause and reflect on what is important and appreciate all the blessings in life...like family.
These two sweet girls are much older now. This photo makes me realize how quickly time is passing me by. It won't be long and my little girl will be heading out on her own. Right now, I'm thankful that day isn't here yet and I have 2 1/2 years more years before she is college bound.

I can't believe it...my favorite month of the year has come and gone and we are onto a new month. But of course, a new month also brings a new write. click. scrapbook gallery. The theme this month is favorite color.
My favorite color is yellow...it just makes me happy, but I really didn't want to do a layout with just one color, because in reality I LOVE color! All colors! Lots of bright, cheery color! If you are familiar with my work you know most of my layouts are very colorful, so my layout for the November gallery is full of color too...a rainbow of color!
I used my watercolor crayons to create the rainbow of color and sprayed it with some Studio Calico Shine. When it was dry I embellished it with stars, sequin and a piece of star flair, from {a flair for buttons}. The journaling is tucked behind the photo.
