Exactly 50 years ago today my Mom & Dad tied the knot.They have been visiting this past week so I took the opportunity to arrange a surprise celebratory date for them. On Thursday evening, Tim and I arranged for a driver to pick them up and whisk them off to the Gaylord Texan hotel while they sipped on Champagne and ate chocolate covered strawberries relaxing in the back. At the hotel they enjoyed the ice sculpture display, Christmas lights and decor followed by a steak dinner at the Old Hickory.
I love arranging a good surprise so I'm not sure if it was more fun for them or for me, lol!
It is only fitting that I celebrate with a layout about their wedding day...
So, here's to you Mom & Dad! Thank you for providing a fun, loving and happy home for all these years! You make it look so easy! Happy Anniversary! xoxo
