I don't know what has overcome me but I can't stop making framed Christmas art...specifically Christmas tree art. I guess I'm really into them this year because they keeping making an appearance on all my Christmas layouts too! lol!
I have a smorgasbord of holiday home decor to share with you today. Two new Christmas tree pieces, one Christmas Subway art (with a free cut file download) and an older Christmas tree piece (but definitely worth mentioning again).
So, here we go...O' Christmas Trees!
Simple Handmade Tree
This one was made with the Noel Mignon's Boardwalk and Glad Tidings kits.
The shape of the tree is made with velvet trim and it is adorned with brads for ornaments.
The Merry Christmas was added using the sketch feature with my Silhouette software and Cameo. The font is from Lettering Delights and is one of their Thin Fonts. I love the look of the Thin Fonts so I will be using those a lot more!
Elf Subway Art
"Elf" fans, this one is for you! There are two quotes that I love from the movie and I made one of them into Subway art.
It was inspired by a free printable that I pinned from Pinterest. I typed the quote in a similar fashion using my Silhouette software and then cut it out.
Do you want to recreate this project? I'm sharing my cutting file and you can download it right here!
Elegant Christmas Tree
This next Christmas tree is simple and elegant in gold.
All this took was left over gold chipboard stickers and natural twine with gold.
Christmas Button Tree
Last but not least...my Christmas Button Tree.
Do you have a lot of buttons? Yes! Visit my Button page to read the complete tutorial for recreating this piece of art!
I hope you find something here that inspires you. All of them (except the button tree) can be created in an evening. Perfect for the finishing touches for your home decor or a quick last minute gift.
Have a great week everyone! Make it a crafty one! :)
