I've met Santa in real life, seriously! He was just as kind as the day the kids sat on his lap telling him all the toys they hoped he would bring for Christmas. A few days before Thanksgiving we were dining at In-n-Out when he strolled in for a burger. He looked EXACTLY like all the pictures with my kids sitting on his lap so he would be hard to miss. When I ran across a couple picture of my kids sitting on his lap a few years ago I had to scrap them and tell the story of our meeting.

The journaling reads: Seven years ago my kids were right there sitting on your lap telling you what they want for Christmas. Today, just days before you begin another season of being Santa I meet you at In-n-Out (you have good taste) and learn you are just as kind out of costume, are recognized all over the U.S. by those that have sat on your lap and you are about to publish a book about your 40 year career playing Santa!

How cool is that? He is a great Santa. Everything about the way he looks is real and he is kind and gentle too. Exactly what you picture and think of when Santa comes to mind.

Bella Blvd and Basically Bare Layout

Hello everyone! Today we are sharing layouts made with Bella Blvd and Basically Bare goodies. I received a cute chipboard camera from Basically Bare and had to use it. This is what I came up with...

I used a mix of bright colored papers, buttons and stickers from Bella Blvd to complete the layout. I used my Cameo Silhouette to cut the "say cheese" title, smiley face in the camera and the "click, click, click" bubble.

Hello December. I've been looking forward to the December for a while now, it is my favorite time of year. I enjoy all the festivities and have been anxious to begin my December album too. I've also been looking forward to sharing this layout I made for the write. click. scrapbook December gallery. 

The theme is favorite photo and this one has been a favorite of mine for almost two years. I've taken lots of other photos that I do love and are technically better shots, but this one has remained at the top of my list. Maybe because of the excitement and emotion of the moment...it was a very memorable for me.

So...who is doing a December Daily this month? Me, me, me! Well, not exactly daily. I'll be doing an album but I'm not going to worry about taking a photo everyday, I'm just going to go with the flow. I'll let you in on a little secret...I've already finished 5 pages off my album. I like to include the tree decorating so when the tree goes up my album begins. I haven't completed my cover yet but I did make an introductory page. 

It is a vellum shaker pocket with snowflakes, sequin and glitter. The flair is from {a flair for buttons}.
