Hey everyone! I'm so excited to be sharing my challenge for the Noel Mignon Spring Fling Crop today! It isn't too late to play along and the grand prize winner will receive a May kit and Guest Designer spot for the month! Fun, fun, fun!
Last year when the ombre trend was all the rage I wanted to try the technique on a layout but never did so I thought this was the perfect time!
Ombre is a graduation of the same color from light to dark. Like this...
My challenge to you is to pick one of the spring pastel colors from this inspiration piece and use it to create an ombre element in your layout. Here is my layout.
I used light pink and graduated the color down to dark pink. When I embellished my layout, I used embellishments in the same shade of the paper where it was being placed. Most of the papers came from past kits...a great way to use scraps. The xoxo heart was cut using my Cameo and the flair is from {a flair for buttons}.
This was really fun to create and a great way to use scraps too. I'll definitely be experimenting with ombre some more!
I've created an album on the Noel Mignon FB group for you to load your ombre challenge layouts! I can't wait to see what you create!

ooh, LOVE this layout. And LOVE ombre. Not sure I'll have the time, but I'd love to do something similar for a card.

Ooh, it looks brilliant! I love the stitching through the middle of each strip, and the heart on top looks so pretty! x
