Hi everyone, Diane here! I'm so excited to be sharing my first Chickaniddy project made with the Date Night Collection with you today.
The patterns in the Date Night Collection are so beautiful that I wanted to incorporate several onto my layout. I did this by creating a cut file with several sizes of circle cut outs that was divided into four sections for multiple prints.
I filled in some of the circles with contrasting circles in smaller sizes, along with some brads and enamel hearts.
I'll let you in on a little tip I use for stickers since I'm very indecisive and like to push paper and other design elements around before committing to their final placement. I always put the stickers I want to use on a layout onto plain copy paper and then cut them out. Yes, this is a little extra work, but I like knowing I can move thing around plus it allows the edges to be raised a little which adds some nice dimension, like on the butterfly, date night title and flower stickers I used.
Supplies: Paper (DN140S01, DN140S02, DN140S03, DN140S04, DN140S05, DN140S06, DN140S08), Alpha Stickers (DN14EB01), Sticker Sheet (DN14EB02), Brads (DN14EB06), Enamel Hearts (DN14EB07)
You can make a background like mine using the free cut file I made. Head over to the Chickaniddy Crafts blog to download the free background.
Thanks for stopping by!
