Some fun blog tagging has been going on for a while now and I've been tagged by the fabulous Patricia Roebuck from Roebuck Adventures. I'd be surprised if you aren't familiar with Patricia's work...she is well known in the scrapbooking industry and has a way with creating eye-catching designs and great details in her layouts that are unique to her!
The blog tagging concept is simple...share a little about yourself and then tag other scrapbookers too.
First, a little about me.
What I'm working on right now...
I'm finishing up my assignments for my first month with the kit club Gossamer Blue. You guys are gonna love their September kits! :)
How long does it take me to finish a project...
Ummm, I'm not answering that, lol! It is embarrassing how long I push paper around before I will finally glue it down. All kidding aside, if I can finish a page in 3 hours I'm happy!
What are my favorite things to work with at the moment...
Paper, and any small embellishment like flair, buttons, puffy stickers, sequin and anything gold.
How does my writing/creating process work...
I'll be honest, writing is not my favorite. I often pick my photo and design my page before I ever give a thought to incorporating my journaling. I like to do hidden journaling so that I can be completely creative with my design.
How do you become inspired and stay inspired...
I find lots of inspiration on Pinterest, through art, and in patterns and designs I find while out and about. Sometimes I'll simply go into my craft room and go through my supplies. I have lots of goodies in my craft room that can get me wanting to create.
What is my signature style...
This used to be hard for me to answer but I think I can answer this pretty easily now...I LOVE color, fun and whimsical pages and scattering embellishments. I'm always up for scrapping a vintage photo too, they make frequent appearances on my layouts.
Now it is time for me to share the work of some fabulously talented scrapbookers.
Mandie Pierce - her work is fun and interesting without being complicated. Her simple, eye-catching style and photography shine through in every layout.
Emily Spahn - her designs are always unique, a little playful and full of stories. A perfect balance between the creative process and memory keeping!
Martha Bonneau - if you aren't familiar with Martha's work, you should be! She has a fabulous style...eye-catching designs that are colorful and will draw you right into the layout!
Thanks so much for visiting today and I hope you will take a little time to check out the work of these fabulously talented ladies!
