Happy Thoughts Chic Tags Layout

Hey everyone! Just stopping in to share a layout I made with the exclusive Story Teller collection from Chic Tags. The collection is bright and fun...I love everything about it and I think you will too.

I pulled out my Bella Blvd papers which I haven't used in far too long...it coordinated perfectly with the Story Teller collection.

Come On Get Crafty I Love You layout

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a layout with you a made a couple months back for a sketch class at Come On Get Crafty.

I used a selfie I took of my hubby and I while we were on our annual "flu shot lunch date" and I'm hoping that that shot sticks and we don't get the nasty flu bug this season.

The majority of the supplies are from Come On Get Crafty which includes a variety of product from Bella Blvd, Fancy Pants, Jenni Bowlin, Lily Bee and Studio Calico. There are also couple items from the very first Oh Deer Me Kit on this page.

Halloween Projects

I have a few treats for you today. Three to be exact, two layouts and one card. 

First up is a Halloween layout I made of my daughter a few years back when she was dressed up as a cat. I used the new We R Family collection from Lily Bee.

I used my Silhouette Designer software to create the Subway Art inspired design.

The next two projects were made for stamping week at write. click. scrapbook which was sponsored by Technique Tuesday. I was sent an adorable Halloween set to work with and made a card and layout.

The card was super easy to make, I stamped two rows of pumpkins tied on some seam binding and added the sentiment above it.

For this layout, I wanted document my Mom's extreme fear of spiders. I didn't really have a photo that represented my story so I got creative and used one of her holding a kitten as a child and tied that into the journaling.

I cut the spider web background using my Cameo and used a mix of Bella Blvd and Glitz for the rest of the layout.

Bella Blvd Gelato Run or Dye layout

I wouldn't call myself a mixed media art girl, but I do like to experiement a little once in awhile and dabble with things that get my fingers dirty! 

I knew that a water color effect would be the perfect background for a photo of my friend and I at the end of the Run or Dye race, where we are covered in dye. My goal was to recreate the look of the logo on the t-shirt with splotches of colors of all the different colors of dyes that were thrown at as during the race.

In addition to the water coloring, I used a variety of Bella Blvd papers for layering and my title. I knew that Bella Blvd's bright and fun colors and prints would be perfect for this layout.

Here is the end result. 

To create the watercolor background I colored directly on my page with Gelato crayons in the colors of my choice. To blend them I simply dipped my finger in water and rubbed until I achieved the look I wanted.

For this assignment we were asked to mix and match papers from different collections. I used papers from about 6-7 Bella Blvd collections. All the Bella Blvd collections mix and match so easily, it's one of the things I LOVE about Bella Blvd.

Bella Blvd Catch Me If You Can

This week on the Bella Blvd blogwe were challenged to use 6 of the same type of embellishment. I decided to use the wood buttons lined up in a row under the sand in the photos and customized each one with DMC thread in colors to match my papers.

I also added some hand stitching to the clouds in the patterned paper and my title.

Bella Blvd Let's Play layout

Hi everyone! Sharing a fun layout today of Alyssa and her friend play dress-up with the dogs. Poor Jack kept getting dressed rather girly. Everything from a ballerina to a cheerleader. :)

I used a cut file with multiple blocks which allowed me to incorporate lots of the beautiful papers from the Bella Blvd Play Date collection.

Bella Blvd Daily Cabo 2013 layout

Hi everyone! I'm excited to be sharing another layout I made using the brand new Snapshots collection from Bella Blvd. 

Each new Bella Blvd collection includes a sheet of 3x4 and 4x6 cards that are perfect for Project Life but can also be used for a traditional layout or mini albums. I used three of those cards on this layout. You can get a good look at it in the close-up below.

I couldn't resist coloring in the 4x6 doodling card with my Gelato crayons.

And I LOVE the hash tag sayings included in this collection!

Bella Blvd Happiness Here

Today for Project Catch Up I have a rare treat for you...a 2-pager. Remember those? I used to do them all the time, in fact, when I first started scrapbooking that is all that I did.

I created this one for Bella Blvd.

I used the Sunshine & Happiness collection, one of my favorite Bella Blvd collections.

Using white space in a photo is the perfect place for a title, don't you think?!

Come On Get Crafty Hello card

Hello everyone and happy Friday! I wanted to share a card I made using the Fancy Pants Trendsetter collection from Come On Get Crafty.

It came together quickly using the coordinating tags in the collection. The greeting was white and I colored it to help it stand out against the pastel background.

This is just one of four different Fancy Pants collections that is available in the Come On Get Crafty shop.

I'm a tad behind on sharing projects I've made since the beginning of June so next week I"ll be sharing lots of projects every single day. I hope you'll swing by each day for a little crafting.

Bella Blvd Christmas Countdown Reveal

Today Bella Blvd is revealing their final collection for Summer CHA 2013...Christmas Countdown!

I love the penguin paper and all the elf images in this collection...so cute! Here are a couple projects I made with Christmas Countdown.

My second project is a mini album featuring the antics of our elves!
