Hello everyone! I have another vintage photo layout to share with you today featuring my mom in the tub on the front porch. Oh, how fun it would be to return to those simpler days, no?!

I used the Project Life Maggie Holmes Flea Market pocket cards for this layout. I think they are great for vintage photos. I also incorporated lots of stitching and a doily to add to the vintage theme.

Come On Get Crafty Grid Layout

Hi everyone! Just popping in to share a quick and easy grid layout I made to showcase a photo of my Grandma with her Dad and their catch of the day.

To soften up the squares I rounded the corners, then embellished some with buttons, brads, flair and other small bits from my stash. 

Look at the size of that fish...it is almost as tall as her! :) 

I used the Crate Paper DIY 6x6 pad. The 6x6 pads are perfect for using when you want the designs on a smaller scale. You can pick up the 6x6 pad and other small embellishments in the Come On Get Crafty shop. The milk cap flair is from {a flair for buttons}.

Come On Get Crafty Shift Layout

Happy Monday, everyone! I have a quick and easy layout today created for Come On Get Crafty and was inspired by this pin from my Pinterest Inspiration Board.

A couple years ago I selected the word "Change" as my OLW and I didn't do a single thing with it. Here's the thing, I don't like change, I resist it actually. I was scared of the word "Change" and everything that it represented, the unknown. To make up for it the next year I went with Yes, and I had a lot of fun with it. This year I am determined to make some positive adjustments in my life and I decided to go with a gentler approach to the word change and chose SHIFT. Shift does not scare me like the word change did, lol!

I plan to make small adjustments in the way I think and do things and hopefully at the end of the year all those little "shifts" will add up to some great things.

I have something in the works that will be a huge "Shift" for me and I'm super excited about it. I'm keeping it under wraps for now but am looking forward to sharing how I'm putting my word into motion in a couple months.

Enough rambling about my word, here are some detail shots of the layout.

Come On Get Crafty Pocket Insert Cards

Hello, hello! I wanted to share with you some cards I've made recently using pocket inserts. These smaller size pocket inserts have fun designs and sayings that are perfect for using on a regular sized card.

 

Birthday Card

The owl flair was perfect for adding a clever owl greeting in the speech bubble. If you love owls as much as I do make sure you check out my list of clever owl greetings.  

 

Christmas Card

This simple Christmas greeting used basic background designs for the base of the card.  

 

Cheery Spring Card 

I made this just for all my friends that are buried in snow...a perfect little spring card to brighten your day. I hope you all thaw out soon! 

This one features the use of 4 different pocket cards, a 4x6 card trimmed down, two 2x3 cards and the flowers were cut out of a 4th card.

Come On Get Crafty Midnight Madness layout

This past summer we had an all-night softball event, appropriately named, Midnight Madness. We played from 8:30 at night until around 10am the next morning. It was fun but I think the girls were running out of steam by the time the last game rolled around, lol!

So here it is...the beginning of the fun and the end which I was equally happy to see so I could go home and go to bed, lol!

Come On Get Crafty Memo Board

Happy Monday, everyone! Just popping in to share a quick and easy altered project for your home that totally ups the cute factor for your notes too...a memo clipboard!

I found a 7 Gypsies Clipboard Photo Holder in my stash and used that to make my memo board. Instead of placing a photo behind the glass I added a pretty, muted patterned paper, embellished with a border sticker along the bottom.

On the clip, I added a wide ribbon and a theme coordinated word sticker in the label holder along the bottom.

Use a dry erase market to write your message on the glass. It wipes right off using a dry cloth or your fingers. Supplies are from Come On Get Crafty...get free shipping in the U.S. on any order over $50.

Come On Get Crafty I Love You layout

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a layout with you a made a couple months back for a sketch class at Come On Get Crafty.

I used a selfie I took of my hubby and I while we were on our annual "flu shot lunch date" and I'm hoping that that shot sticks and we don't get the nasty flu bug this season.

Home is Wherever I'm With You Card

Come On Get Crafty Christmas Horse Layout

...and that's final! lol! That is exactly what my daughter said one sunny afternoon. I had to document it and the Glitz Design Wild & Free collection was perfect with the horse and heart die cuts.

Under the heart die cuts, I added some watercolor drips, just perfect for a young girl layout.
